6 Country Stars We Lost in 2020. Remembering the Legends.


They made a history! Never forgotten.

This year has become incredibly difficult for us, not only because of the pandemic, but also because we have lost many bright stars who sang in the country style. Let’s now remember these wonderful people who will forever remain in our hearts as a whole generation leaves with their death.

1.Charlie Daniels. This singer and just a wonderful person was born in 1936. He became most famous thanks to the song «The Devil Went Down to Georgia». He was born and raised in California. in the USA. This wonderful and talented person died on July 6, 2020. He has many different awards.

2. Jan Howard. The legendary woman died on March 28, 2020 and 30 of her singles were on the famous chart.

3.Charley Pride. Recently the world was shocked by the terrible news of the death of this singer. December 12 of this year he left our world. He was a very talented country musician, the author of his songs, as well as an athlete and a guitarist. He was one of the few black Americans who were included in Grand Ole Opry. Pride has many different awards and singles that the whole world knows. Many of his songs reached the first place of the charts.

4. John Prine. Another one incredibly talented man died on April 7, 2020. He has two Grammy awards and is also listed as the 500 greatest albums of all time. He was born in the USA in Illinois. His work was influenced by his grandfather who also performed in the country style. His songs will remain in our hearts.

5. K. T. Oslin. American artist who was best known for her 1987 hit called “80s Ladies”. She died on December 21, 2020

6. Kenny Rogers. He is considered one of the most successful in the history of country music. He sang beautifully love ballads and also mixed beloved country and energetic pop music. Kenny was a member of many vocal groups that had incredible success.
